About Reflection
Reflection (2024) introduces a new approach to generative art through what artist Pindar Van Arman calls "Reflective AI"—a system that uses feedback loops and real-time multimodal mark-making to simulate a creative thought process.
By capturing and translating stages of a physical painting into a unique long-form digital output, the system creates fully on-chain artworks that embody true emergence. Reflection challenges the boundaries of AI art, proving that it can be both highly detailed and deeply expressive.
