You are invited to collect Cities // Paris, a new collection by Efdot created exclusively for Art Basel Paris 2026 and presented by ICONIC in partnership with Art Basel.

The collection marks a new chapter in Efdot’s ongoing exploration of cities, architecture, and perception. Across fifteen limited edition compositions and two unique Master Compositions, Efdot translates the experience of Paris into a visual language of individual marks, color, and movement. Drawing on perceptual psychology and the fragmented nature of memory, each work offers just enough information for viewers to recognize a place while leaving room for their own interpretations.

Collectors participating in the pre-sale will receive early access to the collection beginning Wednesday, October 21, at 12 PM ET / 6 PM Paris, ahead of the public release on Friday, October 23.

This pre-sale offers the digital edition of each work. Every limited edition composition also includes a corresponding hand signed and numbered fine art print, which collectors will redeem through a separate process once the collection sells out. The two unique Master Compositions, Flowing Through Paris (Day) and Flowing Through Paris (Night), extend the collection across painting and animation.

  • Cities // Paris is a new collection by Efdot, created exclusively for Art Basel Paris 2026 and presented by ICONIC in partnership with Art Basel.

    The collection brings together fifteen limited edition compositions and two unique Master Compositions, translating the experience of Paris into Efdot’s visual language of individual marks, color, and movement.

  • Cities // Paris is the newest chapter of Efdot’s Cities project, which began in 2022, and the first time he has devoted an entire series to a single city.

    His earlier Cities works explored urban environments from above, inspired by aerial photography and the geometry of streets and public spaces. With Paris, the perspective shifts closer to the ground, capturing the rhythm and character that make each place feel unique.

  • Efdot’s process combines intuitive drawing with architectural references, vector graphics, and code. He often begins by adding more detail than necessary, then gradually subtracts until the balance between recognition and abstraction feels right.

    What he chooses to leave out becomes as meaningful as what remains, inviting viewers to complete each composition through their own memories and experiences.

  • At the center of the collection are two unique Master Compositions: Flowing Through Paris (Day), an original acrylic painting on wood panel, and Flowing Through Paris (Night), its animated digital counterpart.

    Together, they explore how the same artistic language can move between physical and digital mediums, offering two distinct interpretations of the city.

  • Five compositions are available in editions of 25: Meeting the Sky, Through the Arc, Points in Time, Ascending, and Before Paris.

    The remaining ten are available in editions of 10: Still Standing, Worth the Climb, Encore, Square One, Low Profile, Where the City Opens, On Axis, Quietly Grand, Down the Line, and A Place to Sit.

    The two Master Compositions are unique works.

  • The digital editions of Cities // Paris are released through Manifold and airdropped directly to each collector’s wallet.

  • Yes. Each limited edition composition includes a fine art print on museum quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag, measuring 19 × 13 inches (48.3 × 33 cm), unframed, and individually hand signed and numbered by Efdot.

    This pre-sale is for the digital edition. Prints will be redeemed through a separate process once the collection sells out.

  • Collectors may commission an individual hand embellishment, inviting Efdot to return to their print with additional marks, colors, and textures. Each embellishment is a personal intervention by the artist, transforming the print into a unique variation of the composition.

    Hand embellishments are available for an additional $250 USD per edition and are applied to the print when it is redeemed.

  • Yes. Physical editions from Cities // Paris are available at the Art Basel Paris Gift Shop during Art Basel Paris, October 21–25, 2026.

  • A credit or debit card, and the full Ethereum wallet address, starting with 0x, where you would like to receive your artwork. ENS names such as name.eth cannot be used, so please double-check the address before placing your order.

  • Digital artworks will be airdropped to the wallet you provide at checkout on Friday, October 23, at 10 AM ET / 4 PM Paris, two hours before the public sale.

  • Print redemption is a separate process that begins once the collection sells out. ICONIC will email collectors with the details at that time. No shipping or import duties are charged as part of this pre-sale.

  • The ICONIC Art Pass pre-sale opens Wednesday, October 21, at 12 PM ET / 6 PM Paris, and closes Friday, October 23, at 10 AM ET / 4 PM Paris.

  • The public release opens Friday, October 23, at 12 PM ET / 6 PM Paris.
