Iconic is thrilled to release "GHOST IN THE NET", the first print collection from renowned digital artist Kazuhiro Tanimoto.

A first-ever artist offering, the GHOST IN THE NET collection consists of 150 generative NFTs that include access to purchase a matching 18”x18” limited-edition, museum quality print.

People interact and intertwine with each other in networks as individuals and groups, in cooperation or conflict, in empathy or feigned indifference.

I wanted to express this through generative art using code.

The GHOST IN THE NET collection allows the participant to curate their own piece using Kazuhiro’s backend code as the palette to generate a completely unique output. By generating multiple expressions and then completing the mint function when you have one, two or three outputs you like, collectors can curate their ideal collection.

The drop allows all collectors to explore the algorithm and test an infinite number of outputs before minting. They can then actually mint the outputs they like."

GENERATIVE

CURATION

Due to the rare nature of this collection, access will be extremely limited. Guaranteed access to the mint will be reserved for Iconic’s Art Pass holders, followed by holders from Kazuhiro’s previous collections: GHOST IN THE CODE, Wabi Sabi, Memories of Digital Data and Yuragi.

Any wallet that holds an Iconic Art Pass or one of the above-mentioned collections by Kazuhiro will be added direct to contract (DTC).

PRINTS

Every GHOST IN THE NET NFT gives the holder the option to use their NFT to purchase a matching 18”x18” physical print on Hanehmüle Photo Rag fine art paper featuring the artist’s signature embossed on the print border.

This the first time that Kazuhiro has created a collection that includes physical prints.

  • Every single print will be embossed with Kazuhiro’s signature, adding additional rarity to an already rare collection.

  • GHOST IN THE NET holders have the option to use their NFT to purchase a 18”x18” museum grade physical print on Hanehmüle Photo Rag fine art paper featuring the artist’s signature embossed on the print border.

  • Every GHOST IN THE NET holder will be able to purchase a matching 18"x18" museum grade print with the artist's signature embossed in the print border.

Print Pricing: 18"x18" print with artist embossed signature: $65 / 0.016 ETH + shipping.

Iconic will open the print purchase portal in the days following the mint.

Iconic and Kazuhiro have created an exciting user interface that will allow participants the ability to generate unlimited GHOST IN THE NET versions and then mint only the pieces that you want.

You will be able to generate up to three GHOST IN THE NET pieces during the minting process, allowing participants the chance to curate a collection of one, two or three. You then mint them in a single transaction when satisfied with the generated outputs.

This unique mint mechanic allows participants the option to generate the perfect, personally-chosen GHOST IN THE NET expressions before committing them to the blockchain.

On-Chain

CODE

On-chain code refers to the programming logic and algorithms used in the GHOST IN THE NET collection and embedded within the blockchain. Kazuhiro’s code governs the creation, variation, and interaction of elements within the artwork, dictating its unique attributes. Within GHOST IN THE NET, on-chain code written by Kazuhiro operates as the creative engine, determining the rules and parameters that guide each GHOST IN THE NET iteration.

This code ensures transparency and immutability, preserving the authenticity and provenance of each GHOST IN THE NET artwork minted.
